An English language enthusiast and proofreader who is always eager to share her knowledge with any individuals. I love learning and experiencing new things that are outside of my comfort zone for my self-improvement. I am highly analytical, diligent, and a team player. In June 2020, I have completed my Master's Degree and am actively seeking to land a highly rewarding career where my profound skills and knowledge can be employed for the organizational and personal growth regardless of the industry. I'd have to adapt to the students' needs as every student has different learning strategies and capabilities. As an English tutor, my responsibilities were to guide all year 3, 5, 6 SJK (C) students in improving their English language in terms of grammar, comprehension, as well as writing. The students are given their exercise books, but I took the initiative to provide them with other worksheets and materials too in order to engage with the students and make the class more interesting. I was required to provide a daily report after each session in order to keep track of the students’ progress and improvement. In addition to that, I was also involved in the student’s monthly report and evaluation where I evaluated the students’ progress individually to be presented to the parents as their references. Apart from that, I also guided them with their homework, especially related to their Bahasa Malaysia subject. Working as a tutor has helped me improve my creative and critical thinking skills as well as problem-solving skills. I have developed and built the micro-teaching explanation skills. Furthermore, I have also learned and mastered the art of controlling and managing the classroom. Since the students are from SJK(C), I have learned a few mandarin words from them which might be useful in the future.
