I am an aspiring graduate and a humanitarian by heart, with an ample service record, strong knowledge base in international relations and resilient footing on teaching management. Understanding that helping people is never as simple as it sounds, my experiences have forged a strong ability to handle tense and unpleasant situations with superb professionalism and presence of mind. With a sound knowledge of development issues and development sector as a student of International Relation and Strategic studies, my core strengths lie in global political science, creative and engaging writing, communication, and networking. On the other hand, all the years of being the apprentice of my mentors and teachers have molded me into a coach today. Moreover, my diploma in Arts and Communication provided me with an understanding of communication management, English literature and journalism. I’m excited to find a role where I can accomplish these goals and expand on my current skillset while also growing and contributing to a great individual.In aiming for full engagement, it is essential that students perceive activities as being meaningful. Research has shown that if students do not consider a learning activity worthy of their time and effort, they might not engage in a satisfactory way, or may even disengage entirely in response. To ensure that activities are personally meaningful, we can, for example, connect them with students' previous knowledge and experiences, highlighting the value of an assigned activity in personally relevant ways.Putting FUN in studies. There is always room for some excitement and fun in education. So, I always try to put some playful aspect here and there during the lessons. In the past it also resulted in an amazing bonding experience for me as teacher and my students.Teachers Assistant (4 years): Ensured that all students comprehended the curriculum, and supported students who required extra guidance, resulting in writing and reading comprehension test scores increased over three years on average,with curriculum objectives and assist students to prepare for examinations. Moreover worked closely with the other teachers to ensure all avenues of the curriculum are met and delivered lessons the students. Worked with children who were shy and needed extra care. Always able to maintain a pleasant, professional relationship with students and their family members. Assisted in specific strategies to help students be more successful in English courses.Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students. Moreover, provided review class material with students by discussing text, working solutions to problems, or reviewing worksheets or other assignments. All in all, created a conducive to learning environment by implementing extrinsic and intrinsic incentives.
