I did my undergraduate degree at the National University of Singapore. I majored in physics and materials science and engineering. I had a first-class honours. I did my physics PhD at the University of Washington. My PhD research is into helping students to learn rolling motion and vector superposition better. My interest is in teaching physics, helping students with their misconceptions, and overcome those difficulties. I have taught university physics for 10 years. I encounter many students with different difficulties. I do my best to help them out. I tend to teach by questioning. I listen to student's questions, analyze where they need more help, and act accordingly. I can also show students step-by-step on how to solve problems. What I hope to achieve is learner independence. They can solve problems and manage their learning on their own. I taught university physics for 10 years. I conduct small tutorial lessons and lab classes.
