I am Miss Pink and hold a Master of Education. I have more than 10 years of teaching or lecturing experience and have taught in two reputable international schools, two private national schools and two colleges in Malaysia. My teaching subjects are SPM/IGCSE Math, IGCSE Economic/Business Studies/Accounting and UK LCCI Diploma in Accounting. Besides teaching, I also have 7 years of managing experience in the education field as a Manager or Head for kindergartens, language centres and colleges. With my passion in teaching and industrial experiences, I am a great mentor to students who want to study with me. To create a conducive learning environment for students, first I will diagnose student's learning style, behaviour and his/her strengths and weaknesses of a subject. Then, I will discuss some strategies which I can help the student and let him/her know my teaching style. My teaching style is very engaging as I will constantly ask students to explain what they understand and give examples on relation between the subject and real-life situations. This way, student will get activated and motivated to learn. Besides that, I will expose the student to exam tips and he/she will be guided on how to evaluate their own performances which will give a 100% confidence to student to achieve good or excellent scores. In the past, I have turned students who were not keen in the subject, demotivated to learn, failed in examinations and disengaged in lessons into becoming interested in the subject, motivated to learn, scored a B or an A in examinations and engaged in every lesson. As a teacher, I understand that every student has a unique thinking and learning abilities which is my role to explore and make student feels good about learning. My ex-students find me interesting when they are being asked lots of questions out of the syllabus but related to the subject. A student's interest towards a subject is extremely important for me before I can involve him/her to plan how to study the subject better following student's personal thinking style and behaviour.
