Since my spm result is a bit excellent with 7A's, so i further my study in physical science course in Pahang matriculation college. With a result of 3.68 cgpa, i continue my studies at science faculty of University of Malaya, completing my degree of bachelor in science with education, majoring in chemistry and minoring in mathematic. During studies, i discovered that i really have strong passion of teaching and make people understand what i am teaching about. Since i am the second oldest sister for my siblings of 7, its my responsibility to teach and guide them with their studies. I am happy to see their understanding and able to complete all the task given. In conducting a lesson, teacher should completely plan it beforehand. A good lesson plan must include all the necessary items like an interesting introduction to create students interest, detailed flow of teaching process so that teacher can manage time wisely, suitable teaching strategy so that all the contents can be well delivered to the students based on their abilities and also evaluation task that is very important to evaluate either all the learning outcomes can be achieved or not and also evaluate teaching method that has been used is effectively implemented or not. Evaluation not necessarily in a written task like quizzes but also in other form like performing successful experiment, presentation and also spontaneous reaponse by the students. Teaching is not only chalk n board at all but must contain all the technology resources, so that the learning process becomes fun and meaningful. Working in a team can instill leadership among them to make sure all the members achieve the learning outcomes instead of self understanding. Students will be more actively participated working in a team since they can change their role simultaneously. They have to be given chance to speak up their own opinion, so that their mind will brainstorms and coming up with a new fresh idea. I have 6 years experience in national secondary schools, 3years at sarawak and another 3years at kuala lumpur. At sarawak, i have teach mathematic and science for pmr students and at kuala lumpur, i'm teaching science for lower secondary and mathematic for upper secondary. Since i teach at rural area school in sarawak, teaching strategies used there is based on students abilities there, which is students have a little prior knowledge. For example, in science experiment, most students never been and used all the apparatus in laboratory. So when they are exposes in doing experiment, they are eagerly doing the experiment and come out with all the positive result. Whereas students at kuala lumpur, they have to be exposed with some technology resources to attract their attention in cultivate their understanding. Top of that, teacher must have skills of questioning, in order to make students think and comes with a good response.
