I am currently a social researcher in a local think tank at Kuala Lumpur. I have been involved in social research for the past four years, trained in Anthropology and Sociology for my Bachelor's Degree and Malaysian Studies for my Master's Degree. I am particularly experienced in qualitative and mixed-method social research, having experience in handling in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, analyzing shadowing reports, and handling survey questions. I mostly interacted with students from higher education institutions, especially from public universities. I am particularly interested to share my experience and knowledge in sociology as a researcher to students with keen interest in this subject. Students who need guidance on the topic of social research, sociology, anthropology, and Malaysian studies are most welcomed. My approach is to have active engagement with my students throughout the session. Students must be prepared for the session beforehand so discussions can be carried out effectively. Materials for discussion will be given a week before and responses from students are greatly appreciated. I have been tutoring primary school students before in a very short time span. Afterwards, I mainly coach juniors from my university on research skills and sociology subjects.
