My name is Nur Amira. I am 23 years old this year. I currently living in Cheras Kuala Lumpur with my family. I speak fluent malay and good english langguage. Since I have Science background, i have no problem understand and writing in english. I studies science and math in english since year 1 till unversity. I am passionate and patient person. I love teaching and very caring toward my students. I also very punctual and detail person. I like my students to know a lot of knowledge about science not only based on the text book syllabus. But also able to apply and relate the knowledge to their daily life. My principle is to make students open their eye and mind about how interesting science. i have experience teach science form 1, science form 2, mathematics form 2. biology form 4 and chemistry form 4. I also have experience teaching hometuition via online and offline. this experience useful for me to work as tuition teacher. My lesson will be interesting as i like to use visual to explain the content. Therefore, i like using powerpoint during my class to help student write notes and have clearer picture of what i am teaching about. I also like relate the topics with our daily life to help the students understand the content. Next, usually before my class i will ask the student for the topic that they felt hard to understand and i will prepare slides, simple notes and questions for the topics. I also will give the study materials to student via whatapp a day before class start. This is one way to enable student to have that knowledge before class and make the teaching process easier to understand. Other than that, my style of teaching, i like ask student questions throughout the class to make sure the student alert and focus on the teaching. I also like student who always ask questions because it shows how curious they are about the topics and this will help them undestand more. Everytime finish one topics or subtopic i like to make quiz to test their understanding. This way we could see their progress clearer. Last but not least, i like to provide my student wih simple mind map to overview the topic during the start and the end of topics. this way will make student make a checklist of subtopic that they understand and not understand clearer. Benefit to the student that join my class are able to get simple notes in good visual and pictures as i like to draw pictures to understand the topics. Next, they also can get simple mind map as overview the topics this will help them study for examination. I also provide way to tackle question for some topic especially hot topic for spm and pmr. Lastly, most of my question that i ask are from past year questions. I have experience in teaching science form 1, science form 2, mathematics form 2. biology form 4 and chemistry form 4. I also have experience teaching hometuition via online and offline. This experience are useful for me to work as tuition teacher. Therefore, i know the syllabus KSSM and KBSM for form 1-form 5 subject science, biology and chemistry. My classes always full of activities and the students always provided with slides for simple notes.
