About Me: I just finished my master's in Environmental Management last February and currently seeking new experiences and opportunities. I am an all-rounder, easy-going, and fun to be around. With a major background in physics, I am able to teach mathematical and science subjects. People always found physics to be a hard to understand subject but from my point of view, physics is very logical and once mastered, the concepts can be easily applied into others for example maths. I enjoy meeting new people and besides tutoring specific subject I do share my knowledge and experience especially to primary student in choosing their next step into secondary options. Same goes to SPM leavers, I do share guidelines on how to plan their next step. About My Lesson: From my experience of being a part-time tutor, students need a simple relatable example to understand certain concepts in the syllabus. Therefore, my approach is always to tackle the understanding of concepts, and then I will move to problem-solving examples. The most important part is, to identify students' level of understanding first before bombarding them with those force, optical, magnetism, etc concepts. Another method that I found most beneficial (for physics subject) is to understand experiments equipped in the textbooks. The understanding came from, real experiments inside a laboratory or through watching detailed explanations from youtube or other relevant sources. It will come in handy during answering papers 2 and 3 questions. Education Experience: Since high school, I have been entrusted to be mentoring in front of the class, mostly during physics periods, and it continues until my time in university. As a postgraduate student, giving a lesson to undergraduates class is also part of my responsibilities. During those years (2014-2020) I did a lot of tutoring especially for UPSR students (math) and they showed a lot of improvements.
