About Me: I am currently a Psychology fresh graduate from HELP University. Among all my subjects throughout primary school to secondary school, English is my best subject. During SPM, I scored A for the 1119 English Test, and got A+ for English. Followed by A-levels, Psychology was my best subject which led me to pursue a degree in the said course. Aside from studying, I also joined a few activities and events during my schooling years, such as, being appointed as the leader for Props and Design Team, volunteered for my university's Korean Fair. On the other hand, I had experiences in digital marketing (e.g. blogging, social media marketing) for an e-commerce company for two years, interned as an associate consultant for a recruitment firm GEN Partners, at TTDI. Eventually, these experiences has equipped me with enhanced communication and critical thinking skills. About My Lesson: I would plan my lesson based on each student's learning method, Due to individual differences, each student learns and absorbs knowledge differently. Hence, I would plan the lesson prior to tutoring to ensure that I deliver my best when teaching the students. I will also make sure to engage the students in discussions to stimulate their critical and creative thinking. I will also strongly encourage them to try without being afraid of failing, and reassure them learning from their own mistakes is part of their improvement progress, as well as strongly encourage them to ask questions when in doubt in order for them to learn better. Education Experience: I was a part-time teacher in a day care center located at Kepong for approximately 5 months before pursuing my Bachelor's degree at HELP University. My main responsibilities were guiding the students' homework completion progress. I was mostly accountable for students within the ages between 7 and 11 (Standard 1 to Standard 5). For instance, I would assist in correcting their errors, check their homework list, and answering their questions. For students who are relatively young (e.g. Standard 1: 7 years old) I would be responsible for thoroughly checking their homework according to their homework list to ensure that they did not misplace it at school or at home.
