I am currently a practicing lawyer in KL and I've always been passionate about education. Throughout my tertiary education and early working years, I always dedicate 4-6 hours a week to tutor students part time at an affordable rate. I was an ASEAN scholarship awardee and was educated in Singapore during the formative years of my life. Due to my education background and experience, I am able to provide quality private/group tutor sessions for my students, particularly in the English language for students aged 12-17. I also have experience in dealing with children and teenagers, being relatable to them. I am equipped with the necessary skills and equipments to conduct online lessons during this period as well. My lessons are usually fun, focused and goal-oriented. Depending on the parents' expectations, I can plan my classes either to be goal oriented and to focus on syllabus; to be sped up to tackle a specific exam; or to take a slower pace, more fun and to help in engaging their emotional and developmental needs. My classes usually range from 1-2 hours, I can prepare worksheet materials or use student's existing workbooks, I can also help in students' school homework. Basically, my classes are highly flexible and malleable, subject to planning and discussion with parents. I've been a private/group tutor since I was 18 and every week I dedicate 4-6 hours for students between 12-17 years old, on top of my full time job as a practicing lawyer. I come from a high stress environment when I studied in Singapore and I do my best to help students learn as fast as possible while dealing with stress levels. I am also open to different language and humanities subjects/syllabus provided that I be given relevant materials for me to prepare beforehand.
