LEE REN

I am a teaching assistant in Eagles International School, Subang Jaya. I have graduated with a BSc. (Hons.) Actuarial Science with First Class Honors. I have been teaching my peers in class since high school. Since then I have developed my passion in teaching. I find joy in helping others understand what they did not understand previously. My motto in teaching is to not give up on any student, because I believe every student is important and can play vital roles in our society. Instilling character in students is just as important as teaching them academic knowledge. When I teach Maths, I teach concepts using examples. For younger students, telling them how to apply what they have learnt in real life. My planning includes notes, class examples and homework questions. I engage students by chatting with them a bit about their life and interests I have taught tuition for two students, Singapore Maths in a Singapore Maths Centre, and Olympiad Maths to 30 students in a primary school.
