About Me: I am an internationally experienced K-12 and adult levels, English and drama teacher graduating with a Master of Teaching (Deakin University, Victoria, Australia, 2013). My continued understanding of the importance of instilling a love of learning and helping support students’ academic ambitions would be a great asset to your team. My passion for learning, varied professional experiences including childcare and casual relief teaching and qualifications, experience etc. makes me a perfect fit for this position.
I can work both independently and collaboratively developing my extremely important strengths. These include time management, communication, organisational skills combined with flexibility and persistence. I successfully used these strengths by solely managing up 35 students at a time.
I enjoy developing my strengths through exploration and learning.
About My Lesson: My lessons are fun and engaging. I plan according to school expectations and my own creativity. I love to try things out and adapt learning content based on the engagement levels of students. I aim to stick to the lesson plan, but if unplanned relevant learning occurs I go with that. I get feedback from the students so that I can teach them better. By integrating unplanned learning and feedback from students they feel more part of the learning experience. This develops my teaching skills and perspectives. Education Experience: I have experience teaching teaching within Asia and Australia. I have taught K-12 and adult level students mostly English, ESL, and drama learning content. I also have experience in childcare including before and after school care. I have mainly been employed on a full time basis.
