My name is Kalaivani . I am 26 years old and a graduate from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) English Education degree. When it comes to my lesson planning, I plan them according to my students' needs and capabilities as I want them to understand the content of the lesson without burdening their minds. As a teacher, I look to create lessons that are both interesting and easy for my students to comprehend. When the lesson is easy to understand, automatically the students will not be scared of the subject and in turn, they will be able to absorb the given knowledge better. I believe that I can learn and share knowledge through new perspectives when I am working with new set of people in a new environment. In a way, it will give me a chance to explore and develop myself as an individual. This will also give me an opportunity to broaden my horizon and increase my experience level.I like working with new people as it gives me a chance to learn about new things. I manage stress well as I don’t let them slow me down. I always look for new ideas to make both my work and day exciting. I am also tech savvy and I know how to incorporate media into lessons to make them interesting. I have acquired a certain amount of experience of being an English teacher through my time in Nilai International School. Moreover, I do have a 3 ½ months of teaching experience which I acquired during my teaching internship programme in UTAR. I was placed in SMK Malim Nawar for my internship. During my internship, I learned how to manage different types of students and to cater to their different needs. Furthermore, I have acquired knowledge on JUEC and SUEC curriculum throughout my time in Kuen Cheng High School. As of now, I am working as an IGSCE English teacher in Ace Learning Academy, a home school in Puchong.
