I have five years of journalistic experience with the Malaysia SME, Media Prima Group and HCK Media Group. My last position in journalism was a reporterwith the New Straits Times and feature writer with the New Sunday Times. I specialised in covering local, general, community, features, business, and political news. I have worked as a contract-based media and communications consultant over the past two years with two nonprofit organisations and two technology companies. Meanwhile, working as a freelance journalist, translator, and content writer. I believe people can use their knowledge and skills to make a difference in people's life. This is the reason I started community and school projects in Nepal since 2015. I have completed five projects in Nepal. The latest project in Nuwakot, Nepal was completed in July 2019. About my lesson : Identify the learning objectives. Plan the specific learning activities. Plan to assess student understanding. Plan to sequence the lesson in an engaging and meaningful manner. Create a realistic timeline. Plan for lesson closure. My first teaching experience as a volunteer teacher at Sundary Keurani Higher Secondary Schoo, in Gerkhu, Nuwakot, Nepal, was very nerve-racking but I really enjoyed it. I had six classes a day and I taught from Class 2 all the way to Class 6. I was there for six months. On the first day, I did an introduction class where everyone said their names, ages, where we come from and our favourite things. This allowed me to get to know my students and for them to get to know me whilst also allowing me to gauge their level of English. Last year, I started to work as a part-time private English tutor during the weekend at a home tuition centre. My students were from Chinese primary schools and Chinese was their first language. I am well-versed in Mandarin and English, I would explain English text and phrases in Chinese so they have a good grasp of the lesson.
