In terms of qualifications I am a medical doctor but my passion is to educate young minds. I am hardworking and willing to take on new challenges. You might be wondering what is a medical doctor doing applying for a teaching job? Well, I worked as a practicing doctor for about a year. However, I decided to take the bold step of opting out to pursue my passion in teaching. I have always enjoyed teaching especially mathematics and biology. I did my A levels at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur and scored 3A* in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. For my SPM I scored 9A . I do hope I will be able to guide these students to achieve their potential. In terms of lesson plan, I would follow the syllabus accordingly and have weekly learning outcomes that would be achieved in that weeks lesson plan. The learning outcomes would be distributed ahead of time so students have time to read up before hand. The sessions would be interactive and using visual aids such as videos to help engage the students. My education experience is mainly on volunteer basis. My first teaching experience was in KUMON where I used to teach Mathematics. During my A levels period, I help tutor mathematics and Biology to both A-levels and SPM students. I used to also teach English to Refugees on volunteer basis while I was in medical school.
