I am a Statistics graduate with a minor in Literature. I received my bachelor's degree from the Simon Fraser University in Canada. I have been tutoring in Vancouver for 3 years before moving back to Malaysia. I am able to teach various levels of Math, English, Science, Chemistry, Biology and Statistics. I received a CGPA of 3.8 in my field and have various experience tutoring. In particular, Math and English are my most enjoyable and strongest suits, and I love teaching! My strength as a tutor lies in my ability to recognize my students’ weaknesses and areas that need improvement instantly. I will then curate a curriculum that is well suited to each client, to ensure that target areas are tackled and focused on. I believe that every client is able to improve on their weaknesses by having the right tutor. I am friendly and communicate effectively with my students. I believe that a good client-teacher relationship is imperative to improving the quality of lessons. My students and I have established a good and solid relationship them to reap the benefits of a tutor extensively. I believe that a large part of a student’s understanding comes from the materials that he or she is fed. This is why I ensure that I source the nest types of exercises and notes as reference for my students. I make it a point to ensure that a student properly understands my concepts before I move on to the next topic. I believe that a strong foundation is key to good education. I am also highly professional, especially with timing. I am always punctual and highly reliable. I do not do last minute cancellations. I am always well prepared for my classes and ensure that I have all the necessary materials needed to carry out the lessons. Apart from my teaching abilities, I am extremely flexible with timing. I am able to accommodate different timings, and changes that are unavoidable. I am also available to tutor on weekends and provide extra hours if the need arises. I absolutely enjoy tutoring as it has been a passion of mine for the longest time. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, but most importantly, it brings me great satisfaction to see my students improving consistently.
