About Me: A passionate 26-year-old female that's intrigued about the study of the human mind. Able to listen effectively and emphatically to help individuals who need guidance in life. Have prior learning experience in subjects related to Psychology such as Theories, Effective Listening, Psychopathology, Human Growth and so on. I have had the experience of providing home tuition for students (children) with Autism and learning disabilities. I had devised teaching plans and helped the students with their school tasks. Completed Bachelors Degree in Communications and Psychology. Currently in the last semester of Postgraduate Studies, Masters in Professional Counselling in University of Malaya. About My Lesson: My lessons are mostly focused on the syllabus of the student's course content. I prefer to take a creative approach whereby I provide the opportunity for students to creatively learn about the subject. I prefer for students to look at it from a personal perspective rather than focusing solely on the textbook content. This allows student to understand the subject in whole rather than getting bored by it. Education Experience: No prior experience with teaching university level students. Have 2-3 months experience in tutoring Foundation students at home. I'm not a certified teacher currently.
