I am 25 year old dedicated, passionate and an inspirational trained ESL teacher who strive to help students to foster their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Former students of mine who had been worried about their incompetent grammar and speaking skills are now communicating more fluently and confidently in English as I’m the type of teacher who provide students to bring home something to ‘think about’ besides than just a homework. Not only that, I help students to have a better insight of the subject being taught apart from the sake of scoring with flying colours. Therefore, my ESL lessons are often meaningful, engaging and interesting which can arouse one’s curiosity in learning English in a meaningful manner. In my current position I teach Cambridge and Oxford English to students in primary level. Over my 11 months of teaching I’ve made it a point to stay up to date in the latest 21st century teaching methodologies. I rarely use the textbook-oriented approach to deliver my lessons as I am more prone to encourage my students to think beyond than what is solely presented in the book. I also plan my lessons according to my students' preference, needs and their learning style as I often prioritise my their needs before mine. As a second language teacher for about a year, I've found my passion for delivering engaging ESL lessons have only grown every month. I have dedicated my career to help learners not only to attain academic success, but also for them to sustain long term life lessons and thus that may prepare them to withstand any kind of challenges in their future. Having said that I'm also passionate about teaching as it gives me a sense of satisfaction when my students could grasp what were taught to them. I believe I can inspire their hopes, nurture their thinking skills and to instill the love for learning among them
