I'm Darshani , graduate from the course of Biomedical Degree at CIty University. I have experience working in laboratory environment during my Internship period of 6 months at KPJ Tawakkal Specialist Hospital. I was really interested in getting my hands on some experience, and the experienced that I have receive, allowed me to apply my knowledge in hands while working towards the protocol used in lab. Also, I was previously attached at AIG Shared Services, supporting Singapore Claims Department for the position of Adjuster Express Claim, but I was put in a Contact Center called Extended Warranty. Meanwhile, attached at AIG, I was a part time tutor in a tuition center, Pusat Tuisyen Inti, and currently attached as a Tutor with SifuTutor. I have always been grateful towards the educational system for implementing values in me, and I personally believe, every individual holds a huge responsibility to contribute towards the educational system. Therefore, I took up this opportunity to contribute, what I have learnt and experienced over the years. I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for everyone and make the material as interesting as possible. I prefer doing group exercises, colourful power point slides and even include videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. From my experience being a student, I believe this is something which increases students interest significantly. While I was supporting the Contact Center at AIG, I was a part time tutor at Pusat Tuisyen Inti for a year period of time, tutoring both upper primary, Standard 4, 5 and 6 with Mathematics, English and Science subjects and secondary school students, Form 3 and 5, Science. Due to some circumstances, the Tuition Center was closed and that is when I was attached with SifuTutor, tutoring Mathematics, English, Science (Primary), and Science, Biology (Secondary).
