My name is Chi Yan and I am a passionate graphic designer graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication Design at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. I am experienced in digital advertising, print media & marketing field. Currently, I am pursuing part time teaching in creative drawing, arts & crafts & freelancing. I am always willing to learn something new and I learn very quickly. I always try my best to get my students engaged in class with fun activities provided with the healthy environment. Art lesson plan Step 1: Plan the lessons for the whole term (total 9 lessons) Step 2: Refine the lessons to make sure its fun, engaging & beneficial to the students. I always try to keep it simple and informative so it will be easier for the students to understand the lessons better Step3: Execute and engage the students. I try to ask a lot of questions relating to the lesson I'm going to teach to stimulate their brains. Step 4: Presentation with the Q&A session. Step 5: Explain the task for the day & show examples of the artwork (whether printed or made by the teacher) Step 6: Approach the student one to one so I will give extra attention to each student.That way, I can understand the strengths and weaknesses. I will also guide and assist with patience as every student learns at a different speed. Step 7: Once the students finish their work, they can bring it home. I have started teaching part time in the late 2018 as a part time art teacher. I was struggling at first as I was a teacher with no experience. But over the months, I gradually improved and got more comfortable with the class environment & I grew to love my job. I enjoy educating and having fun with my students. Teaching has also gave me an opportunity to bond and understand my students better, in terms of behavior and personality. I have worked in Global Art, My Art Studio, My Craft Studio teaching arts & crafts. Currently, I am teaching creative art & creative math for a CCA program in Garden International School. I am going to start a new job soon a part time IGCSE art teacher in Treetop International School.
