I am a Psychology gradute with more than 8 years experiences as a tutor teaching Psychology. My work experiences has always been within the scope of Psychology. I have taught A levels and IBDP students at school for Psychology and personal home tutoring ( Psychologyy and Chemistry). I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Help University and my postgraduate Msc at University of Hertfordshire, UK. Besides teaching experiences, I was also a researcher , doing research at Psychometric lab, developing Psychological instruments for Malaysians at MIMOS Berhad. In addition to that, I have written a novel called King Pathur and published it last year. My keen interest and past experiences in teaching is what keeps me going as a teacher until today. My lessons will usually be 1.5 hours minimum and maximum 2 hours per session. I am more aligned to online tutoring. For each subject, I will have 30 mins feedback session whereby students are expected to work on the chapters taught ( worksheets, etc) discussion will be conducted with regards to their work done at home. With this method, students will not fine it very difficult to answer exams questions as well as will be able to remember facts easily. During the lesson, exam related questions will be thrown in while teaching the specific topic in order to give confidence to students to tackle questions for topics they newly learned. At the same time, students will be taking down notes and doing quizzes as a checkpoint. I have taught A levels and IBDP psychology students at school ( for about 4 years) and tutoring ( more than 8 years ). In addition to that, I have also taught Theory of Knowledge (TOK) for slightly more than 2 years at school. Therefore, my lessons will always include critical thinking and logical reasoning questions with helps students to tackle examination questions in the future. Although now my preference is to teach online, I can be confident that my lesson will be equal to face to face teaching. I am quite a result oriented teacher whereby, I am quite focused on getting students to get A's ( from average students to good) and B's ( from weak to average). That is why my method of teaching has lots of steps.
