We are looking for an experienced Mathematics tutor to teach Additional Maths and Pure Maths at IGCSE and A-Level. Strong Cambridge or Edexcel exam knowledge is essential.

IGCSE · A-Level
We need a Science tutor specialising in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology at IGCSE and A-Level. Experience with Cambridge CAIE syllabuses and practical teaching is preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with our academic team — conducted in person at our KL centre or via video call for your convenience.
Step 3 — Trial Session
Successful interviewees will complete a short paid trial teaching session, allowing both parties to confirm it is the right fit before a formal offer is made.
Step 4 — Onboarding
Once confirmed, you will receive a full induction covering our teaching standards, student management, resources, and schedule — so you can hit the ground running.

FAQ for Applicants
Common questions from tutors considering a role at Tuition KL.
Do I need a teaching qualification?
A formal teaching qualification is preferred but not always required. Strong academic credentials in your subject, combined with demonstrable teaching experience, are equally valued. All applicants must pass our interview and trial session.
How is pay calculated?
Pay is calculated on an hourly basis and varies depending on your qualifications, experience level, and the subject and programme you teach. Rates are discussed transparently during the interview stage.
Can I teach online as well as in-centre?
Yes — we offer both in-centre and online teaching options depending on student demand and your preference. Many of our tutors work a combination of both formats to maximise their hours and flexibility.
How long does the hiring process take?
From application to offer, our process typically takes 1–2 weeks. We aim to respond to all applications within 5 working days and schedule interviews promptly for shortlisted candidates.
